The Rumbia Information Center (RIC) is required to develop SWOT analyzes that combine with four strategic formulations, which are Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats. SWOT analysis is important to apply in RIC because it serves as a strategic planning method before proposing e-commerce initiatives for your business. By applying SWOT analysis, it is able to examine the internal strengths and weaknesses of organizations and lighten the opportunities and threats of the condition. Firstly, there are four main selling points that can be found in the Rumbia Information Center, which are useful in environmental terms. and Kuala Penyu culture, cottage industry, tourism and good funding for sago and biodiversity enhancement of 'Butod'. RIC has a good environment for planting the sago palm, known as Rumbia. As we observed during this field trip, most of the lands are not simply dry lands but also low-lying wetlands of the tropics near river banks. With this good quality of land, sago production can be increased year by year and even month by month. Furthermore, the growth of unused plant properties and the development of their adoption considering the reality of the frequency of population increase in Sabah. The supply and demand of sago relationships would perhaps be certain in the long run. In general, sago has been classified as one of the underutilized plant resources because it is rich in carbohydrates and serves as an alternative staple resource. The sago palm and sago worm locally called "butod"; it is typically linked to the Kuala Penyu culture. Most of the ethic in Kuala Penyu are the communities of Bisayas, Brunei, Kadayan and Dusun Tatana. Plus, it makes profound sense to everyone…the medium of paper…creates churn and microbial activity. This will cause soil and water pollution along the Kula Penyu River. The Rumbia Information Center has opened up no shortage of opportunities for international research communities and networks. This situation will threaten the development of RICs where they have failed to observe new species other than the sago palm and sago beetle. Nowadays, people are more likely to see something new for them to gain knowledge in this century. In fact, there are many participants entering the sago palm market, especially Sarawak. One of the rural areas of Sarawak, Mukah, is famous for sago and sago beetle. They provided sago beetle consumption to local people and tourists. They also have business selling sago starch at lower prices, conducted by the Iban, Dayak and Bidayuh community.
