Environmental pollution is one of the serious crises today. In fact, there are three fundamental elements, air, water and earth, which constitute the harmony of nature for the correct and balanced life of all organisms. Among these items, air pollution is the crisis we often face in these few years, and many diseases and health problems have been caused by the poor air quality condition. Air pollution can be divided into 2 types: outdoor air pollution and indoor air pollution. This report studies indoor air pollution, its causes, effects and some strategies to overcome it. (Waseem et al., 2013) Daily life activities require individuals to spend more than 80% of their time indoors (offices, schools, hospitals, nurseries, shopping centers, private homes); therefore, the air quality of such spaces can affect the health of their occupants. Potential contaminants are of different origins: those deriving from combustion, biological processes and agents, gases and volatile organic compounds (VOCs). Contaminants and the disease processes resulting from exposure to them differ depending on income level, geographic location, and individual cultural determinants. In developed countries, indoor air contaminants are influenced by the architectural design of buildings, external pollution sources, building materials, and ventilation and air conditioning systems. In developing countries, the use of biomass as a fuel for cooking or heating homes is the main source of IAC. (Waseem et al., 2013) We can conclude that indoor air pollution is influenced by housing and living conditions, but to some extent it is also influenced by the external environment after considering the variable of air pollution internal and..... .half sheet...but it can happen. It is up for debate whether it would be reasonable to use this material in places conducive to growth such as bathrooms.6. If uncertainties increase in severity and scope (e.g. the effects of climate change or (fine) dust coming from outside), a scientific analysis or even a political-social debate is necessary. This will result in a widely accepted risk problem definition, a strategy for measuring the problem or keeping it “on the table,” and finally the design of a decision framework. CONCLUSION Health and education begin where we spend most of our time. So indoor pollution plays an important role in our health. Indoor pollution is the contamination of all the polluting agents that together make up the overall atmosphere of the internal environment. If we fail to keep our homes free from pollution, the outdoors is expected to be safer.
