Draft Research Paper In the year 2050, a young boy nervously rehearses what he will say as he approaches the cheerleader he has been too nervous to approach for the past month. But as he approaches, an athlete takes the books from his hands. He gets teased because he's the school wimp. They call him names like “undesirable,” “godchild,” and “invalid.” Of course, no one cares about a less-than-perfect child whose genetic makeup was left up to fate. With the introduction of genetic engineering into society, people like this little boy simply have no hope of competing with the likes of genetically reinvented “perfects.” ” Jock, people are designed to be flawless. With this technology, comes a completely new social environment and new rules must be established as the human race wanders into unknown territory. The advancement of technology is leading the human race into an era of awe-inspiring brightness, preventing us from realizing the long-term, species-changing effects it has on us, forging a lazier, more superficial and, above all, less “human” society. Among the effects of creating a perfect human is an elite race that gives way to a whole new level of discrimination and caste system. There are countless social implications such as a new type of “jock and cheerleader” in high schools and discrimination in the labor economy with “perfect” human beings, and their elite race is much more favorable.
