Drug Trafficking is the terminology used to indicate the illicit production, cultivation, distribution and sale of drugs against laws prohibiting the use of drugs such as cocaine, marijuana, alcohol , heroin etc. The spread of crime and violence due to the growing influence of the drug industry and international drug trafficking and its impact on citizens' economic opportunities and geopolitical stability around the world is emerging as a central and important issue for the geopolitical science. Over the past decade, this international illegal drug trade has occupied almost 1% of global business, as more than 1.3 trillion dollars were traded in 2009.1 Illegal trade, economic instability, deterioration of human life, geopolitical instability and the growing dominance of crime and violence proliferated by drug trafficking encourages transnational organized crime across borders and poses a threat to the sanity, morality, human harmony and democratic values ​​of our society and therefore should be proactively managed in collaboration with IGOs ​​and NGOs by implementing rigorous strategies to reduce its impact on society. This document aims to analyze the causes of the increase and prevalence of drugs in the international market, the consumption of different types of drugs and their impact on young generations from a health, social, economic and psychological perspective. It explains how various IGOs ​​and NGOs have addressed this problem with all possible efforts within their capabilities, but drug trafficking continues to persist despite their contribution.
