The second solution is good, but it does not allow everyone to use PCT technology in the same way. Only larger centralized hospitals would have access to POCT technology, while smaller rural hospitals desperately need such technology. The third solution is universally welcome; however, it is not practical. The money to finance such a proposal is non-existent, making the solution impossible. The first solution is best because it evaluates which POCT tests are worth the cost. Allowing both smaller rural hospitals and larger urban ones to enjoy the benefits of POCT technology.
