The employee retention committee meeting involves a number of people who coordinate according to the programs established by the members and correlate their activities with the work of the relevant committees (Liebler 2008 pg 326). The meeting had been scheduled ten days in advance and personally notified to the committee, but the timeliness was ignored by the president. Committee members should also be more responsible and involved, but we saw that some members forgot that there was a meeting. A committee is more than an informal group that meets to discuss an issue and share ideas, even if such a group meets regularly (Liebler 2008 pg 312). It is the president's duty to verify compliance with the mandate and action deadlines and obtain a space for the meeting (Liebler 2008 pg 326), but in the current circumstances we see that both tasks were not considered and the meeting was held in a small space and a stuffy room without enough chairs for committee members.
