Most importantly, these codes emphasize a professional's primary job responsibilities. Most ethical problems arise when employees handle their responsibilities unprofessionally or refuse to provide quality service (Resnick, 2011). Members of the computing society are obligated through their code of ethics to prioritize integrity, computer continuity, conflict of interest, honesty and competence. These constitute the daily life of an IT professional. The code of ethics of all media workers emphasizes their responsibility to ensure that they have had maximum access to resources and have not discriminated against anything or anyone. It is their primary responsibility to carry out their duties effectively, quickly, competently and to inform clients of a possible conflict of interest. Finally, the code of ethics of professional journalists requires them to seek the truth and report only the truth. It then lists several possible loopholes where journalists can get lost or show any kind of lack of professionalism during their work. Therefore the first similarity is that all codes of conduct emphasize ethical delivery of work. The second important similarity is the emphasis on collaboration in work. Codes of conduct provide guidelines and support collaboration in the workplace (Resnick, 2011).
