It's simply the cycle of life. The human life cycle is one of the themes of our modern life. Prayer before the birth of Louis Macniece starts us in life. We hope for gifts of consolidation – someone who will give us the strength to wrestle with human nature when we arrive – forgive us for mistakes and pamper us with love. Let's hope so.
