Tupac couldn't meet his father until he became an adult. Without a father, he and his mother moved around, so it was difficult for him to get comfortable anywhere. When they finally settled down, he attended an art school. There she explored ballet, dance and acting, but that's not the only thing she discovered. While living in Baltimore, he discovered rap and began performing as an MC New York ("Tupac Shakur." Bio.com. 1). So he grew up without a father, a role model, no one to inspire him. These are not the only difficulties he has faced; in fact his mother was in prison while she was pregnant with him. It was originally called Lesane Parish Crooks. His mother later had his name changed to Tupac Amaru Shakur meaning shining serpent ("Tupac Shakur." Bio.com. 1). Her mind was shaped by her mother's distorted ideas, while also exposed to her struggle with drug abuse. What can obviously be seen influenced him later
