Topic > Symbolism and cinematic analysis of the film Princess Mononoke

We would be sitting on the ridge feeling nothing. This is why I feel that the universe has its origin in chaos. A “perfect” universe would not exist, simply because a perfect one cannot exist. Any system this large contains enough uncontrollable variables that the computing powers of our entire planet could not handle it. So this system must be the “perfect” one. Instead of a system of immutability, we have a system of constant change. Always on the move, constantly losing and gaining energy. We continuously type the scale from one direction to another. This is what strikes me about the ending of the film. There is no such thing as a sunset of pure joy. Instead they are all forced to start over. The only thing that has happened is a change in perspective and balance. I really don't know how to end this. Even though I feel more comfortable with this essay than the last one, writing my rationalizations feels wrong. If you can, please go see the movie. It's excellent and I hope it sparks as many thought-provoking thoughts in others as it does in him
