A community leader expands their experience, skills, and collective energy to promote positive social change and enable their communities to thrive. Throughout elementary and high school, I participated in school clubs and special classes, volunteered in my community, took leading roles in fundraising, and acquired many jobs. I became a leader in my community through referrals from jobs or businesses, connections with other leaders, and by achieving high academic grades and excelling in sports, I chose to share my skills with others and move forward to make a change . In addition to academics, fine arts and school sports, I landed leading roles in several groups. This year I am the spirit leader of Student Council, encouraging monthly goals and themes and assisting with school events. Since creating a student council with a group of colleagues three years ago, we have been successful in many events and have found new ways to spread the spirit, gather important information and assist financial groups.
