Taking away guns will not stop crime because the people who use them for bad reasons are responsible. We must come to the understanding that there are just some bad people out there and they will commit criminal acts regardless of the laws put in place. All of the gun crimes sparking the debate for stricter gun laws are all illegal and haven't stopped criminals from committing them, so not even new gun control laws would stop them. “How many school or mall shootings will it take before we realize that people who intend to kill are not deterred by gun laws?
