Zuberi argues how the history of race is tied to social class and leads powerful people to control the work of less powerful people. Europeans had the power and started going to other countries and created demand for slaves in many countries and this was the result of racial domination. Zuberi claims that slavery was the result of powerful states conquering weaker states. The weaker states did not have enough state power and were conquered by powerful states and began to dominate the races living in the weaker states. As a result of racial domination, powerful countries conquered weaker states and their populations were used for slavery; the strongest states profited from slavery. Furthermore, the article focuses on the immigration of Europeans and Europeans were the ones who had more power than other countries and when they went to other countries they began to gain more power and racial classification.
