I had a deal with Taylor and I had to stick to it. I definitely had feelings for that guy. I had a few hours to prepare for this appointment and until now I had no idea what I was going to do. I didn't know what I was doing to put myself on. I didn't know how I was going to do my hair or my makeup. I sighed and ran my hands through my hair. An idea came to me and I rummaged through my suitcase. I finally found what I was looking for at the bottom of the suitcase, my brother's old t-shirt. It was WAY too big for me, so it was perfect for what I was going to do. I cut the head hole a little larger and slid it over my shoulders and just above the neckline. I took the sleeves, crossed them over my chest and tucked them in, one at a time. I looked at my long, lean figure and loved the product. Pinterest saves me. I walked over to the cabinet and tied my hair into a messy bun. I always tie my hair up in preparation for makeup. I don't want anything in my hair. I reached for the concealer just as there was a knock. I quickly approached the door and stuck my head out. "Can I help you?" I looked up at a certain Jack who was towering over me. “Hey beautiful, I want to take you out tonight.” He smiled wide and proudly, but lowered it as soon as he saw my expression. I frowned and sighed. "Sorry Jack, I can't. I actually have plans.." "Oh well, with who?" He scratched the back of his neck. He's so embarrassed because I rejected him. "It's our last night here. I was hoping we could go out and do something. Just you and me." I sighed and felt bad now. "Next time I go to MagCon, I'll let you take me out. The car ride home was really nice. Taylor held my hand the entire time and we sat together in comfortable silence. Once in sight of the hotel, we knew that this amazing night had to end. I smiled a tired smile and leaned back when we arrived. “I had a great night, you know?” He shook my hand and kissed my head: "Now let's go in." I nodded in approval and got out of the car. We went back inside with me tucked in next to him. I'm sure I looked really tired. I was literally half asleep the entire trip. I snuggled into his hoodie as we parted ways to our rooms.
