Topic > The Empty Tomb - 1115

With Easter rapidly approaching us, the origins of the holiday may come to mind; there had to be some other reason to start the celebration besides getting chocolate bunnies and coloring eggs. For some, this all dates back to Rome's time as a world power and unique event. Jesus Christ of Nazareth has risen from the dead. There has been speculation since the very day this happened whether Jesus Christ had indeed risen from the dead. Questions have been circulating such as: did he really die or did simply fainting on the cross wake him up with the cold air of the tomb? Or did his disciples steal his body? The answers to these and other questions will be presented as we examine the medical, historical, and circumstantial evidence for the miraculous resurrection of Jesus. The medical evidence that Jesus even completely died on the cross is the first crucial area to look at. After the torture Jesus suffered before even climbing the cross, he was beaten and beaten with a cat o' nine tails to the point where he was not even noticeable to those who knew him. He also had a crown of thrones smashed into His scalp and made to carry the object upon which He would die to the hill of His execution. Nails were driven into his wrists and ankles to keep him attached to the cross. It usually took people days to die by crucifixions. They died of suffocation because they were no longer able to lift themselves to get air into their lungs. Jesus died a few hours after being up there. This is unheard of and doesn't seem possible. But after the beatings he suffered before he was even on the cross, there wasn't much left of Him. It is said that the Roman soldiers pierced His sides (on the left side, in the heart) with a spear and as a result... in the center of the card ...so much so that he became one of the best leaders of the Church and even ended up dying for his beliefs. Nobody wants to lose their life easily and especially because they don't even have total confidence that it is true. There is only concrete evidence of the legitimate resurrection of Jesus Christ. Any argument against it has no weight and can be easily refuted. Logical reasoning leads to the truth of the empty tomb and the resurrected Christ.
