Serial Killing is the illegal killing of one person by another, and the murders are committed for pleasure, control, mental problems, or revenge. It's really surprising that people kill others for fun or because they feel isolated from society. With the existence of serial killers, there will be many more reasons why they kill and this will always surprise society as to the reasons why serial killers commit crimes. Furthermore, society is not expected to know or understand when and why these crimes are committed. The only people who will truly understand why crimes are committed are those who commit them. Zodiac is a film starring Jake Gyllenhaal, Mark Ruffalo, and Robert Downey, Jr. Jake Gyllenhaal is Robert Graysmith, a cartoonist who becomes obsessed with tracking down crimes. Zodiac killer and writes a book about the zodiac. Mark Ruffalo as David Toschi, Inspector of the San Francisco Police Department. Robert Downey, Jr as Paul Avery, a police reporter. The Zodiac Killer was a serial killer who targeted his victims in Northern California and when he killed his victims he sent letters to the police and also sent zodiac codes to the local Bay Area press. Graysmith, Toschi and Avery take on the Zodiac Killer case and try to discover the killer's identity and crack his codes. It's July 4, 1969 in Vallejo California, Darlene Ferrin picks up Mike Mageau from his house and is heading to a Mr. ED is a hamburger and fries restaurant. When they arrive it is too crowded and they decide to go somewhere quiet to spend time together. Darlene and Mike are laughing and smiling when suddenly a car parks behind them and turns off the car. After a couple of seconds the car leaves without any action...... middle of paper ......t from behind and shoots him in the back of the head and blood splatters everywhere. A woman sees a crime happening in the taxi and thinks a robbery is in progress and calls the police. When the zodiac shoots the taxi driver, he leaves. A few minutes after Stine's killing, a phone rings and wakes Inspector Toschi to go and lend a hand in the crime. Another detective explains to Toschi that a boy from the houses near where the murder occurred saw a white male with glasses get out of the taxi. Inside the taxi the zodiac left gloves stained with blood; Toschi and his colleagues begin to act out the scene of the possible way the Zodiac killed Stine. When Toschi discovers that the boys have seen the zodiac he goes to the boys' house and begins to question them about what they saw to find more information on the crime. The boys simply say they saw a white male with glasses.
