Violence in the media appears to affect many children and young adults in our society and this should concern parents. It seems that violence plays a role in many people's lives. Many innocent children are affected by the negative things that happen in the world we live in. Violence seen on television is often overlooked because TV is usually a tool used to entertain children so that parents can have time to themselves and most of the time the children are unattended. As a result, children can watch whatever they want and are often exposed to unnecessary violence. I believe this is a big problem and has a great effect on children and can ultimately affect their lives. The effect of violence on television and the effect of violent behavior are caused by video games in children. Most TV channels try to protect themselves and deny their involvement in child violence. Also, view Preview programs before watching them with your child. A good idea is also to set a schedule to watch the show you liked with your family. This is not something that can be fixed in a day or two, you need to start with the parents but it can be done. References:1. Anderson, C. A., & Bushman, B. J. (2001).
