The Internet is a universal collection of millions of computers and networks combined into one larger network. Therefore, no one owns or operates the Internet. There are providers that control each network, and each network is financed and administered locally. The Internet provides a wealth of information ranging from games to food recipes. It serves general knowledge on any topic and is available for anyone to access. All the information we can access is organized using hypermedia, which uses hypertext. Hypermedia is an embedded document with references to audio, text, images, video, and other documents. Hypertext is a form of codes for links that consumers can click. One of the best things about the Internet is allowing us to socialize with others wherever and whenever we want. We can communicate with our family and friends all over the world. However, what would happen if in ten years the Internet became the Boutique Network? The Boutique Network is a reductive but decentralized model of all networks. Our government and our service providers are starting to take control and transform the Internet into independent intranets. The Internet is becoming more and more prevalent in the daily life of today's society. We use the Internet both at home and at work for personal and professional purposes. People can immediately find the specific information they need in a short period of time. On the other hand, most people use the Internet as a form of communication with each other in the community. In the old days, we often had to send a letter and then wait for a response. Nowadays, with the Internet, it is easier to put our information online, allowing more people to view it.
