After their successful first album DNA, Little Mix return with their new album Salute. Last time every song was about love and building self-esteem. The new album is mostly about relationships. These 4 British girls Jesy (22), Leigh-Anne (22), Jade (21) and Perrie (20) have taken the world by storm with the sixteen track list of songs; It's hard to choose a favorite. This album includes the single 'Move'. Track one Salute is an upbeat song that talks about gaining respect for women in the workplace, especially in regards to the defense forces. The lyrics “Sisters, we are everywhere Warriors, your country needs you. If you're ready girls, better get ready, aim, shoot." This means that it shouldn't matter what someone's gender is, they can still protect their country. Nobody needs to change for a job. Perrie said on Instagram that this is her favorite song to dance to. The second track is the huge hit Move. This song is mostly about going to a party and a girl's eyes fall on a boy she now likes. The lyrics "Hey baby, tell me your name, I got a fever for you, I just can't explain it." This means that once he sets his eyes on the boy, he wants to go and meet him, but he doesn't want to chase him. Personally this is the easiest song to get up and dance to. Track three is the beautiful Little Me. This song is about encouraging girls to be strong and helping them rebuild their self-esteem. The lyrics "You gotta speak out loud, you gotta shout, and know that right here, right now, you can be beautiful, wonderful, whatever you want to be." This gives advice to many girls who are struggling to find happiness due to their low self-esteem. Track sixteen of the album is an unplugged version...... middle of paper......n might change now knowing that his ex is happy and he might be the same. They Just Don't Know You is track fourteen. This song is about a family coming to terms with a new relationship. The lyrics "daddy doesn't think you'll be good enough for me". This means that, like any protective father, he wants the best for his little girl. This includes the world of dating and judging a book by its cover. Track fifteen is Stand Down. This song is about walking away from someone and telling them to stay out of your life. The lyrics "my smiles light up the world, I'm flying higher". This means that the girl has moved forward for the better and changed her attitude towards life. Salute is one of the best albums that have been released. With the many themes in each song it's hard not to pick a favorite or at least fall in love with a song.5 stars out 5.
