The legend of the Chupacabra has existed for many years now and is becoming more and more credible. There have been many sightings and detailed descriptions of what this beast looks like. Many say he is about three feet tall, with large red eyes and shriveled, hairless skin (“National Geographic Society”). Even though there are many facts and sightings that could potentially prove that this creature is real, some still don't believe it. There are scientists and researchers who go out every day to try to find out more about this creature, with all this effort put into it, it is very hard to believe that it is not real. There are many facts out there to prove that it is real, the stories themselves prove it, now it's time to convince everyone why they should believe in this hairless beast. To prove to everyone that this creature is real, stories should be told to convince them. The first sightings of this creature began around 1995, when a man noticed his animals behaving strangely on his farm in Puerto Rico. He really didn't understand why they were acting strange that night, even though they seemed to be very afraid of something. The next morning he woke up to find his two goats dead, and over the next few nights he began searching for what had caused this. One night he saw a creature that was the perfect description of what is now known as the Chupacabra. The name Chupacabra literally means "goatsucker", so from that day the search began and still continues in Central America and even the United States ("Unique Facts about Mexico: Chupacabra"). This is just one of the countries that have been affected by this animal and something tells me it won't be the last. It is a fact that the leg... in the center of the paper... It reached as far as England and Illinois. Finally, even though some people may not believe this legend, it should definitely be taken into consideration and never abandoned because one day something horrible could happen and everyone would be completely in the dark. This beast is amazing at doing what it does, and after all these stories one can conclude that this creature is real. Works cited "Animal Planet". Animal planet. Np, nd Web. April 9, 2014.
