There are many students involved in music programs around the world. It has been proven that students involved in musical activities have better future prospects. There are many reasons why music can help a student's success, music is a productive way to spend time, music stimulates the brain, helps grades, and music has benefits. There is a lot of backstory about music and how it helps people in different ways. It was found that children with hands-on training were better at “building self-esteem, increasing creativity, improving problem-solving skills, promoting teamwork, engaging parents, and improving test scores” (Do Something.org). Students in music programs are known to have higher academic achievement, less absenteeism, and better skill development. Music programs help reduce criminal behavior and increase self-esteem. Music helps develop creative thinking, problem solving and communication. Graduation attendance is higher among students involved in music programs. It is known that children who listen to music have better verbal memory. Being into music gives children self-discipline, self-expression and self-gratification. Music helps young children socialize with others, showing them diversity. If children engage in music they must learn to work with others, manage time and solve group problems. Music is also seen as an asset in a student's life and school education (“Basic Music”). Music is a great way to stimulate the brain in adults and young children. After several tests over the years, music therapy is known to be optimistic. Music therapy is known to help people with anxiety and depression. Research shows that their antidepressants work faster in people in music therapy. Music also helps the child... half of the paper... and has educational benefits or even helps stimulate the brain. Most people might think that band might be too time consuming or too much pressure for a student, but if you put in the work, it all pays off. It can pay off in several ways, for example it can help you with your future education or help heal people mentally. Music is a wonderful thing to part with and can be helpful in so many ways that most people weren't aware of. Students in music programs are destined to have successful futures.
