There are many responsibilities a person must have to create a group for civic culture. People are required to add simple information such as who they are, where they were born and what they belong to to show their identification as a citizen. This is a requirement that refers to the microcosm because the citizens in this case would be the smallest group while the people who have greater power refer to the macrocosm. The macrocosm would refer to those who work in or represent such things as the state, government, or senate in America. These two groups are social bodies that have driven civic culture in America and other countries. When you think about this, you can say that both of these groups need each other to function in many ways. They depend on each other to show and continue to teach responsibilities for the future. However, what are people's responsibilities and when should they enforce them? We see people every day, going to work, to a store or just passing by them, but it is natural to continue with the things we are doing. Occasionally you stop and talk to people you may know, but then proceed to your next destination. Civic responsibility is not something that goes through a person's mind day after day. It is a duty that citizens should have, but such duties vary due to people's different personalities. While some people have daily goals, benefiting people in your community isn't what most people think about when they wake up. The topic that interested me was how people could change the community by adding things they didn't have before. In this way, a community can become stronger and bigger together with the people who compose it. However… half of the paper… I agree that teachers should also want to teach students about life decisions. Teachers will always associate with students and for this reason they should care about their education and not just the goals they need to achieve. While William specifically said that schools need to teach responsibility, I also think that states and government should have more programs to teach both young and old about American history and what is to come in the future. Not all history teachers spend time speaking passionately to students about the great importance of American history. Once they reach a certain number of years, teachers tend to stop teaching and remain interested in the subject they are teaching. This is a problem that many places have, and is why it leads to students not being educated about school subjects and specific roles as citizens.
