Over time there has been much controversy about what factors create a psychopath. There have been many stories and myths about what leads to an individual being labeled a psychopath. While some argue that biological, social, domestic, and environmental aspects make a psychopath who they are, there is more behind that than can be seen with the naked eye. However, these factors do not explain the difference between male and female offenders. Although sex differences among psychopaths can be overlooked, these vary from the number of individuals classified as psychopaths, to the types of crimes, the depth of corruption, and even the victims of these individuals. According to the Cassiopaea website, "psychopaths cannot be understood" in terms of antisocial breeding or development. They are simply morally depraved individuals who represent the "monsters" of our society. They are unstoppable and incurable predators whose violence is planned, targeted and emotionless. Their emotionlessness reflects a detached, fearless, and possibly dissociated state, revealing a low-status autonomic nervous system and lack of anxiety. It is difficult to say what motivates and/or controls them since their life history usually does not show long-standing ties to others” (Cassiopaea.org, 2014). That being said we can have a little understanding of why we have psychopaths today. Most of the time we see stories of male psychopaths in the news and stories of females once in a while. The reasoning is that there are generally more males than females. The presentation of psychopaths is different in women. Psychopathic women are reportedly not as reckless and exhibit other traits such as lack of conscience, manipulation, but are not as likely to take the paper resources they can offer. The same is also true for psychopathic women, who can often create the impression of being in trouble, which elicits more financial and physical support from the men they mate with. A male need not be emotionally attached to a single female, or even a single family group, to still have a realistic chance of passing on his genes. He could father many children, and then up and leave. While on the other hand a woman carries a baby for 9 months and if she were to leave the baby, the baby will have some kind of attachment damage or will die naturally and the mother will not feel that connection because women want the feeling of attachment. However, according to Criminal Behavior: A Psychological Approach/ Tenth Edition, Fox and Levin (2003) Typology believes that many murders occur for revenge, power, loyalty, profit, and terror.
