Topic > We need to become more tolerant of the LGBT community

The sky is turning red over the LGBT community, harassment is a constant and inequality begins as an adjustment. Without alarm, the LGBT community is continually awakened to reports of children, siblings and friends being betrayed by their neighbors and mothers because of their sexuality. Through the ages and times the community has entered into a movement of desired acceptance and equal rights. In Oklahoma and other states, people are not as tolerant of the community with personal beliefs more than not to blame. Oklahoma needs to be more accepting of the LGBT community. The LGBT community is made up of those who consider themselves lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender. Community is your students and your neighbors. They are early and strange ages with low and high heights. Microorganisms of innocence and a different air are born and so soon the subject of tribute to a partial life. For example, religion is mostly introduced at a young age through education and environment. Typically, a concept like religion starts out complicated for the growing crowd, but stays in the details, for example, how you don't marry a man if you're a man, "The Bible forbids homosexuality, we're told. Heterosexual marriage it is at the core of God's design for the universe" (Michaelson 34-70). After being introduced to the structure of a wonderful relationship, children wait for it to arrive, but sometimes sexuality can be easily hinted at at a young age and with that sexuality can also be easily rejected. The younger a person is, the more inclined he or she is to acceptance and security, particularly from his or her peers. Elementary age sexuality is often seen as a notion of growth and discovery, but not as a reality when...... middle of paper... the world becomes no more tolerant of one's species. The LGBT community is not a community of sin, it is simply a community of people like everyone else who live day to day waiting to be accepted for who they are.
