Some are good communication skills, dependability, emotional stability, and empathy. RNs need good communication skills because they are constantly in contact with people. Whether it's doctors, other nurses or their patients, "nurses must always be on top of their game and make sure their patients are clearly understood by everyone else." Doctors need to be able to rely on their nurses to get the job done. “When you think of the medical field you often think of doctors.
