In the United States, an increasing number of parents are choosing to home school their children because they are dissatisfied with the quality of education offered in public schools. Additionally, parents may have other reasons why they believe public schools are not suitable for their children, for example; social interaction. Parents fear that their children will be bullied or forced into antisocial behavior due to peer pressure. They believe that the good behavior they have taught the child will be lost in school. Another reason is concern about the quality of education available. Schools often have large classes.
