With these writing craft lessons, I had to go back to read my article and add these things. It forced me to think about what I was editing and analyzing to best fit this new information into my documents. It's hard for me to write articles because I want to get straight to the point so my readers can easily see what they want. I could best describe them as Spark Notes. I am now able to think of new ways to elongate my writing by making it more vivid and fun by adding images and metaphors. The most recent thing I learned is APA. I have never used APA and found that it is very similar to MLA, just has different formatting. While writing my Social Action article I was debating about using APA but as I continued writing I felt that for writing style it was better to stick with MLA because APA was for a broader research base because it consisted of many studies like the diaries I read.
