Aesop's FablesIntroduction: I already know a good portion of Aesop's Fables before doing any real research. Almost everyone as a child was introduced to stories like “the boy who cried wolf” or “the tortoise and the hare”. As a child, many adults read these stories to me because they have very strong morals. It can guide children to do the right thing when they have doubts. I have a very personal experience with the tortoise and the hare because, since I am a tennis player, my coaches always mention these stories about training and how we should play. This actually taught me a lot and made me the player I am today. I know that all fairy tales are made up so that they can teach a life/moral lesson to children to guide them in life and this is exactly what happened to me while reading fairy tales as a child. I am writing this article so that I can have a better understanding of what fairy tales represent and be able to look deeper into the story beyond just the pictures and text. Many people simply read these stories without fully understanding the purpose of the story. After writing this article and doing my research, I hope to be able to analyze the text and understand the fable a little better. Stories are so important to us because they give a bigger picture than what you're reading. And these stories are filled with great morals that can really help a person in life. So not only are they a means of entertainment but also a sort of bible. The stories have had a great impact on my life. Because I was reading these stories at such a young age, this moral automatically settled in me and made me the person I am today. Research: There were many steps I had to take... middle of paper... ....make a huge contribution to society. When I was a kid and read these stories, I remember that they changed the way I see things and I know that there are probably millions of other people like me doing the same thing and it is affecting our world in a positive way.
